At Camp Outpost Inc., we believe outdoor adventure isn’t just about exploring trails and mountains—it’s about fostering growth, confidence, and those delightful, somewhat elusive qualities like resilience, self-concept, and leadership. That’s why we’re committed to making sure everyone gets a chance to experience these transformative moments. Through our inclusive, outdoor-adventure based programs across Nebraska, we’re empowering individuals from marginalized communities, people with disabilities, women, and girls to claim outdoor spaces and make it their own.

We offer adventure-based skills training and goal-oriented programs designed to help participants set—and exceed—personal and professional goals. Whether it’s outdoor sports, environmental conservation, or leadership development, we’re here to provide the mentorship, resources, and occasional pep talks needed to support every person’s unique journey.

And while we’re having fun on the trails, we’re also hard at work advocating for policies that ensure the outdoors is open and accessible to all. By collaborating with national industry leaders, we’re extending these skill-building opportunities far beyond our local adventure plains, reaching national and global levels with advanced workshops, training camps, and certification programs. Our aim? To open career pathways in outdoor recreation and conservation, creating a legacy where everyone has the tools—and the stories—to thrive in nature.

OUR VALUES

INCLUSIVITY IS OUR COMPASS. WE ARE DEDICATED TO CREATING OPPORTUNITIES THAT WELCOME EVERYONE, ENSURING OUTDOOR ADVENTURES ARE ACCESSIBLE AND EMPOWERING FOR ALL.

Presented by Camp Outpost Inc.,  Arena Snowparks, Featured Guest Park Builders

Welcome to The Build Up Clinic, a terrain park adventure that’s equal parts shovel and spirit. Picture this: a freshly groomed slope, the gentle clink of a rake in hand, and the warm camaraderie of an inclusive crew shaping something extraordinary out of snow. Hosted by Camp Outpost Inc. and visionary park builders traveling from Canada and Oregon to share their love of the flow. Under the banner of Arena’s community project, The Build Up, we’ll guide you through the art and craft of terrain park building. Learn to wield a rake like an artisan, set features with precision and flair, and discover what it takes to maintain a masterpiece that’s meant to be ridden.

    What You'll Learn

Rake Like You Mean It: The fundamentals of terrain park tool mastery.

Setting Features:  How to design and place features that scream “ride me!”

Maintenance Magic: Keep the flow alive and ensure every feature is ready for its close-up.

More than just a clinic, this is your chance to become part of a community—a collective of curious adventurers, snow enthusiasts, and future builders shaping the slopes and the stories of tomorrow. The Build Up Clinic is not just a lesson in snow; it’s an open door to creativity, connection, and career exploration in a field that can often feel exclusive.

At Camp Outpost Inc., our mission is simple: Make the outdoors a place where everyone—and we mean everyone—belongs.

Outdoor recreation isn’t just about staying active (though we do love a good hike). It’s about creating spaces where confidence, connection, and community come to life. It’s where Valora found her sea legs and her voice, mastering kayaking and sailing while bonding with fellow adventurers. It’s where Rick, a blind downhill skier, flipped the script and now teaches sighted guides how to navigate the slopes with precision and trust. It’s where a family with a son on the autism spectrum doesn’t just participate—they thrive, conquering the skate park and kayak waves together, in an environment that embraces each and every one of them.

These aren’t just feel-good stories. They’re proof that access to the outdoors has the power to transform lives.

At Camp Outpost, we break down barriers with inclusive programs that build skills, spark friendships, and champion equity. We’re not just getting people outside—we’re starting a movement to make the wild, wonderful outdoors a space where anyone can find their place, push their limits, and share their story.

Join us as we make access to adventure something everyone can experience. The mountain (and the magic) awaits.

Empowering Underrepresented Communities: Adventures with a Side of Grit

Grab your boots and maybe a snack—this slideshow’s about how our adventure-based programs are changing the game for underrepresented communities. We’ve got the numbers (yes, actual data) to prove that fresh air, a little confidence, and a lot of laughs can turn anyone into a leader. These slides are packed with stats that show how climbing rocks and paddling rivers do more than just build muscles—they build character, open doors, and, let’s be honest, make for some pretty great stories.
