Experienced instructors will guide participants through the basics of paddlesports, getting everyone out to explore the lake. Throughout the demos, we invite you to mingle up to the board shop from the lake and hangout for dinner.  We’ll have plenty of pizza to go around. This is a casual, laid-back evening to enjoy complimentary kayaking and stand-up paddleboarding…make new friends and eat some dinner together!

Join us for an exciting outdoor outfitter's maker workshop event hosted by Camp Outpost Inc. at the picturesque Glacial Till Vineyard, located southeast of Lincoln, Nebraska, in Otoe County, near the township of Palmyra. "Wilderness Candle Crafting: An Artisan Maker Workshop" is a unique experience that combines the art of candle making with the exploration of local Nebraska flora. This event is not just a crafting workshop; it's a gateway to outdoor recreation and a deeper connection with the natural beauty that surrounds us.

We are stoked to announce a collaboration with Gnome Surf Happy Camp!! ! Gnome Surf is a 501(c)(3) non-profit Surf Therapy Organization whose mission is to create a cultural shift toward kindness, love, and acceptance for all kids, of all abilities. Gnome Surf accomplishes this by providing children and families of all abilities, on the autism spectrum, down syndrome, and LGBTQ+ youth with surf therapy, art therapy, eco therapy, and yoga experiences locally and globally regardless of their socio-economic status.

At Gnome Surf athletes are free to be exactly who they are and their every dream is encouraged. Gnome Surf has a world class research team, comprised of neurologists, doctors, researchers, and activists. The research team is responsible for defining and implementing therapeutic programming, collecting data from the program athletes, and analyzing the therapeutic effects of surf therapy to advance the cause for individuals who benefit from its healing qualities.

On March 5th we’ll be hosting a maker workshop for the Gnome Surf Happy Campers in Nosara, Costa Rica . Campers will build and paint their own ukuleles to take home… learning a few chords along the way!

Outdoor adventure workshop with Outlook Enrichment, a nonprofit empowering people living with vision loss with the skills and tools to achieve their goals!

Participants will embark on a hike through Lake Cunningham’s north trails. The experience will provide space for the group to connect with nature, exploring the surroundings and building confidence in navigating outdoor terrain.

Following the hike, we will heat things up in a culinary campfire experience, cooking over the open flame.

The day will conclude with adaptive archery. This activity encourages focus, precision, and teamwork, while breaking down preconceived barriers about what individuals with vision loss can tackle.

Engaging in outdoor activities fosters independence and self-confidence. Learning to navigate outdoor spaces and participate in outdoor recreation empowers *every** single* *person* that has ever been immersed in nature. Outdoor outings offer a unique opportunity for social interaction and community building. We all get to bond over shared experiences, creating a support network.
